Bloginization is an idea tank created by 14 determined Bucknell University (pictured above) students and their “org head” professor, Jordi Comas. Our blog focuses on organizations and their structure, management styles, environment, and theory. Organizations are the platforms for various forms of collective economic, social, and political action. Organizational theorists are drawn towards attempting to decipher the problems related to organizations. Organizations are shape shaped by their environment, and adapt pending on how power and conflict are resolved, and how their structures and properties affect the choices available to management. In creating this blog, our hope as writers is to shed light on the complexity of Organizations and untangle the webs of organizational study. Every other Wednesday during the Spring Semester, new articles will be published by each of the writer pertaining to different aspects of Organizations based on current events, our class texts (listed bellow), and various selected texts. Feel free to comment on any of the articles or material. Enjoy!
